It's a month until the big Black Friday consumerist celebration of capital spend, but we'll be on hand from here on out to help make sure you're spending wisely.

When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission. Here’s how it works.

Black Friday, the consumerist temple to which otherwise fiscally reasonable humans might sacrifice their bank accounts, is coming. I mean, it's always coming, such is the way of an annual event, but we are now just a month away from the big day. But Black November is kinda the thing now, and that means we're going to see the best Black Friday PC gaming deals littering the tech shelves all the way through the month. And probably beyond through to Christmas.

But we've been checking over prices all year long, and we'll be updating this page along with our regular deals pages, to keep you up to date with the lie of the land in terms of prices.

The first rule of this list: no junk. We spend our weeks testing the latest products to see if they're worthy of our PC gaming setups, and we're putting all that knowledge to work during this Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales season to recommend the best stuff you can buy. If we don't think it's any good, we're not going to recommend it just because it's on sale.

The second rule: real deals only. It can be hard to sort out the deals from the "deals" during these big sale events, so we're checking price histories and selecting only genuinely decent—or exceptional, when we find them—discounts on PC gaming stuff.

Our goal: Save you from having to trawl though pages of bad products and not-actually-deals on Amazon, Best Buy, and Newegg yourself.

If you do want to directly browse the stores with the biggest sales on PC gaming gear right now, check out the quick links below. Otherwise, keep scrolling for our top recommendations, or use the navigation links to jump to a category.

The big Black Friday officially kicks off first thing on Friday November 29, 2024, but in reality the sales bonanza will start well before that and last long after, too.

There is likely to be a big push from a lot of the major retailers to encourage early spending ahead of Black Friday itself, which is going to make it a whole Black November month of teasing discounts.

After Black Friday itself the offers will continue through the weekend and into Cyber Monday and on into Cyber Week after that. Then it's Christmas gifting, then January sales, and then whatever they can come up with to hang a deal around come Valentine's Day.

Price change: ⬇️Yeyian Yumi | Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 | 16 GB DDR4-3200 | 1 TB SSD | $1,199.99 $699.99 at Newegg (save $500)Yeyian's Yumi PCs are a staple on this list because they're so often some of the best cheap gaming PC deals. This one's even cheaper than we've seen a decent RTX 4060 build for a while, though, as the previous Yumi build we highlighted here was $800 on sale. For $50 cheaper, this really is a steal of an entry-level build. Yes, the CPU is a couple of generations old and it only has 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, but for $750 we can't complain.

Price change: ⬇️Yeyian Tanto | Intel Core i5 13400F | RTX 4070 Super | 16 GB DDR5-5600 | 1 TB SSD | $1,599.99 $1,199.99 at Newegg (save $400)Yeyian has a stellar deal on an RTX 4070 Super machine here. We've seen slightly cheaper versions on sale, but this one at least does have proper DDR5 memory, making the motherboard at least nominally upgradeable to a more modern spec. It does make a bit of an odd combo with the Core i5 here, though for straightforward gaming performance it shouldn't prove any issue and deliver high frame rates.

3. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 | RTX 4060 | Ryzen 9 8945HS | 14-inch | 120 Hz | 2560 x 1440 | OLED | 1 TB SSD | 16GB DDR5-6400 | $1,599.99 $1,249.99 at Best Buy (save $350)We tested the RTX 4070 version of this laptop and rated it very highly, although prices for that model remain substantially higher. This RTX 4060 version might not have the same graphics grunt, but thanks to DLSS 3 it'll still deliver great gaming performance, all wrapped up in a beautiful, ultra-compact chassis with a stunning OLED screen.

4. Lenovo Legion 5i | RTX 4070 | Core i9 14900HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240 Hz | 32 GB DDR5 5600 | 1 TB SSD | $1,799.99 $1,499.99 at B&H Photo (save $300)Lenovo Legion gaming laptops have been excellent performers for a while now, and this one has specs to impress. The CPU is a 24 core (8 Performance 16 efficient) powerhouse, plus you get a proper 32 GB of RAM to play with. Match that with a 140 W RTX 4070 and a 240 Hz screen and this laptop is virtually flawless for the money. 2 TB of storage would be nice if I was being picky, but 1 TB will do you fine.

Price check: Best Buy $1899.99

5. Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i9-14900HX | 16-inch | 240 Hz | 1600p | 1 TB SSD | 16 GB DDR5 | $1,699.99 $1,499.99 at Best Buy (save $250)Acer's Helios line of laptops goes up to some mighty (and mighty pricey) configs, but this one is a bit more affordable. You get that super-fast 240 Hz screen, a proper RTX 4070, and one of Intel's top mobile chips, the Core i9 14900HX. It'll likely run pretty toasty with that beefy Intel chip in the mix, but power-wise it's a pretty mean gaming machine.

6. ASRock Phantom Gaming | 27-inch | 1080p | 165 Hz | IPS | FreeSync | $179.99 $99.77 at Newegg (save $79.22)ASRock has become a favorite of ours around here over busy shopping periods. These screens always seem to be on offer, and from the one we've used (read our review) they're good value for the money, too. You can't really complain with this 165Hz panel for just under $100.

7. Acer Nitro ED270U | 27-inch | 1440p | VA | FreeSync Premium | 170 Hz | $249.99 $139.99 at Newegg (save $110)This is one of the best deals on a 1440p gaming monitor we've seen so far. A respectable brand and a respectable spec, although it might be worth holding out for an IPS panel. Still, a good price on a great little screen.

Price check: Amazon $169.99

8. MSI MAG 321UP | 32-inch | 165 Hz | QD-OLED | $829.99 $799.99 at Amazon (save $30)What a difference a letter makes... especially when it comes to gaming monitors. The code names given to monitors are often impenetrable, but the difference between this MAG 321UP and the MAG321UPX is that this one has a 165 Hz refresh instead of 240 Hz. That's the only difference between this and more expensive OLED, otherwise, you're still getting a gorgeous 4K panel, with response times to die for, and pixel quality, I dunno, to live for? If you're not concerned about the refresh rate difference (and do you have the hardware to hit a matching 240 fps otherwise?) then this is where the smart OLED money is spent.

Price check: Newegg $799.99

9. Team Group MP44L | 1 TB | M.2 2280 | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,500 MB/s write | $79.99 $57.99 at Newegg (save $22)The MP44L is far from being the fastest SSD you can buy but for the money, you really can't complain. The read/write speeds are pretty low compared to others in our curated list, but they're still fast enough for most users and way better than a SATA SSD. If you avoid using it for heavy data transfers, you'll have no problems with it.

Price check: Amazon $57.99

10. Nextorage G-LE | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,400 MB/s write | $134.99 $107.99 at Amazon (save $27)This DRAM-less Nextorage drive still has plenty of pace about it, and if you're just using it as an extra game library SSD to contend with your expanding library, but still need some storage speed, it's a great option. The extra cache can come in handy as a boot drive, increasing responsiveness for smaller write operations, but for games, this more affordable option can be a good way to save some cash on a new build or upgrade.

Price check: Newegg $134.99

Price change: ⬇️Ipason gaming PC | Ryzen 5 5600G | 16 GB DDR4-3200 | 1 TB SSD | $599 $431 at Walmart (save $168)The Ryzen 5 5600G's Vega GPU isn't going to get you playing the latest games at high resolutions, but for some lite 720p gaming it should do fine. The primary purpose to opt for a build like this, though, is to have a base that you can upgrade from with a proper discrete GPU. This one comes with a 1 TB SSD, too, which is very rare at this price point and is a big bonus.

Price change: NEW DEAL!ABS Cyclone Aqua | Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 | 32 GB DDR4-3200 | 1 TB SSD | $999.99 $799.99 at Newegg (save $100 with code BFABS0500)This ABS rig with an RTX 4060 is a bit more expensive than the Yeyian Yumi above, but it has 32 GB RAM and a newer CPU. On their own, an extra 16 GB RAM or a slight CPU upgrade might not be worth the $100 extra for a budget build, but together? In combination, these upgrades should ensure your PC has the grunt even for some moderate productivity tasks, giving you that extra peace of mind.

Price change: ⬇️Yeyian Tanto gaming PC | Core i5 14400F | RTX 4060 Ti | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $1399.99 $949.99 at Newegg (save $450)This is a sub-$1,000 RTX 4060 Ti gaming PC, which is a great price for a rig with this entry-level/midrange graphics card, and it even comes with speedy DDR5 RAM. Just be aware that the "F" in the name means it lacks integrated graphics, so if your 4060 Ti ever goes kaput, you'll have no video-out.

Price change: ⬇️Yeyian Tanto | Intel Core i5 13400F | RTX 4070 | 16 GB DDR5-5600 | 1 TB SSD | $1,599 $1,079.99 at Newegg (save $519.01)RTX 4070 machines can vary in price and specification quite significantly, but here you're getting that great 1440p GPU (with even some 4K credentials thanks to DLSS 3), a nice and speedy Core i5 paired with some good DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. For close to a thousand bucks, that's a really great selection of hardware that makes it a great gaming rig for more like budget prices. It doesn't have the 4070 Super might of the Skytech build above, but it has a more up-to-date CPU and RAM.

Price change: ABS Cyclone Aqua | Core i5 13400F | RTX 4070 | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $1,399.99 $1,159.99 at Newegg (save $240)The Core i5 13400F might be on the lower end of Intel's range, but don't be fooled: it's still an excellent gaming chip, and plenty fast. 32 GB of DDR5-6000 is great to see at this low price, alongside the venerable RTX 4070 (original flavor) that still delivers excellent mid-range performance. Cheap this system may be, but it's got all the right components in all the right places. It also comes with your choice of Star Wars Outlaws or Assassin's Creed Shadows to test out that beefy GPU.

Price change: NEW DEAL!Skytech Azure 2 | Ryzen 7 7700X | RX 7800 XT | 32 GB DDR5-5200 | 1 TB SSD | $1,599.99 $1,319.99 at Newegg (save $280 with code NEPDYA72)This is a great option for those of you looking for a powerful build with an AMD GPU that doesn't break the bank. The great thing about the 7800 XT is that you're getting 16 GB of VRAM for a reasonable price. It performs somewhere between the RTX 4070 and 4070 Super, too, so it'll do just fine for 1440p and even some 4K gaming.

Price change:Skytech Shiva | Core i5 14400F | RTX 4070 Super | 32 GB DDR5-5200 | 1 TB SSD | $1559.99 $1,349.99 at Newegg (save $210)This Skytech RTX 4070 Super build costs more than the Yeyian Tanto 4070 Super build above, but for that extra cost you're getting a slightly better CPU and an extra 16 GB of (admittedly slower) RAM. Plus, you get that lovely white chassis.

Price change: ABS Stratos Aqua | Core i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Super | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $1,899.99 $1,529.99 at Newegg (save $370)This ABS build hits the sweet spot in high-end price-to-performance. The RTX 4070 Super is a solid graphics card that can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, and it's running alongside some fast RAM and a powerful CPU, here. 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM is particularly great at this price point, and the 20-core (8 P-Core) current-gen i7 rounds out the build nicely. A solid all-rounder with a very nice discount.

Price change: NEW DEAL!Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 8 | Core i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Ti Super | 32 GB DDR5-4400 | 1 TB SSD | $2,399.99 $1,619.99 at Lenovo (save $780)This Lenovo rig is about as cheap as you're going to be able to find an RTX 4070 Ti Super PC. The 4070 Ti Super is up there with the best of them, so for just over $1,600 this build's a steal. The only downside is the RAM is pretty slow. The impact that should have on gaming performance isn't too massive, but you might want to consider upgrading it down the line if you spot a good deal on some speedy DDR5 RAM.

Price change:ABS Tempest Aqua Gaming PC | Core i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Ti Super | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $1,999.99 $1,749.99 at Newegg (save $250)This ABS machine, in addition to housing the stellar RTX 4070 Ti Super, has 32 GB of speedy RAM, a high-end CPU, and heaps of RGB. In other words, all the prospective high-end gamer should need. It only has a 1 TB SSD, but that's one of the easiest components to upgrade down the line.

Price change: ⬇️ABS Vortex-X Ruby | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4080 Super | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $1,949.99 at AmazonThis is about as cheap as you're likely to find an RTX 4080 Super build, and this ABS Vortex-X one doesn't cut any corners. We're talking the high-end (but admittedly previous-gen) Ryzen 7 7700X and 32 GB of fast DDR5 RAM, plus it comes with a 1,000 W power supply, so no worries on that front. This machine should handle just about anything you throw at it, and is the most powerful build for under $2,000 that we could find.

Price change:ABS Kaze Ruby | Ryzen 7 7700X | Nvidia RTX 4080 Super | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 1 TB SSD | $2,399.99 $1,949.99 at Newegg (save $450)With this rig, for less than $2,000 you're getting the most powerful graphics card barring the usually overkill RTX 4090, a CPU that's perfectly suitable for gaming, and 32 GB of fast DDR5 RAM. It should handle any game you throw on-screen with ease. The only real sacrifice is the 1 TB of storage, but that'll be easy to upgrade down the line. There's little not to love.

Price change: ⬇️Skytech Legacy | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Nvidia RTX 4080 Super | 64 GB DDR5-5600 | 2 TB SSD | $3,099.99 $2,579.99 at Newegg (save $520)The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the best gaming CPU out right now and in this build it's paired with what is the most powerful graphics card barring the ridiculously expensive RTX 4090. Throw in a whopping 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and this Skytech build has more than enough to demolish any game in its path. It even has 2 TB of storage, so you shouldn't go running out of space for game installs any time soon.

Price change:ABS Kaze Aqua | Core i9 13900K | RTX 4090 | 32 GB DDR5-6000 | 2 TB SSD | $3,699.99 $2,999.99 at Newegg (save $700)You might still have to pay a pretty penny, but what you're getting here is the fastest gaming GPU you can currently buy in conjunction with a mega-fast i9 13900K and a healthy dose of DDR5. 2 TB of storage, too, which should give you plenty of room for a load of games and files. Deciding between this one and the Skytech Azure probably comes down to whether you want a CPU purely for gaming or for productivity, too. And whether you mind having to install a microcode update to keep this i9 build stable.

Price change: ⬇️Skytech Azure | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 4090 | 32 GB DDR5-5200 | 2 TB SSD | $3,199.99 $3,099.99 at Newegg (save $100)This is a huge amount of cash to spend on a gaming PC, but it gets you the best gaming CPU and the best graphics card in one powerful package. And that can't be bad, can it? With that, you get 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, 2 TB of fast storage, and a hoofing great 1 KW power supply. Oof. If you really need that 4090, this is a solid price for a very extravagant build.

Our magic price searching bots are all over the web, tracking down the best prices all the time. That means this list will be regularly curated multiple times each day.

Price change:➖Steam Deck (LCD) | 512 GB SSD | $449 at SteamOkay, the Steam Deck may have had an OLED refresh but the original version is still the archetype of what a mobile PC gaming device should be. It's just as powerful as the most recent model so all those Steam Deck compatible games should run well. It's the OG PC gaming handheld, and it still demands respect.

Price change:Acer Nitro V | RTX 4050 | Ryzen 5 7535HS | 15.6-inch | 1080p | 144 Hz | 16 GB DDR5 | 512 GB SSD | $949.99 $699.99 at Best Buy (save $250)Let's be up front here—the mobile RTX 4050 isn't a particularly powerful gaming GPU. However, if you're on a tight budget and looking to take advantage of DLSS 3, this discount lappy has a lot going for it. It's got a decently fast display, a chunky little six core Zen 4 CPU, 16 GB of DDR5 and a relatively subtle chassis design. I'd upgrade the SSD to something bigger for cheap, but otherwise it's a decent budget gaming machine for the price.

Price check: Newegg $859.99

Price change:🔼MSI Katana 15 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i7-13620H | 16-inch | 144 Hz | 1200p | 1 TB SSD | 16 GB DDR5 | $1,138.49 at AmazonYou're only getting a 1080p screen here, which is a bit of a shame as the rest of the components are all rather excellent. Still, that RTX 4070 will have no problem pushing that 144 Hz panel to its limits in many games at that res, plus the 10 core (six P-core, four Efficient) CPU has some decent DDR5 to play with. It's not perfect, but for this money it's an excellent deal.

Price check: Newegg $1,299

Price change: NEW DEAL!Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i7-13620H | 16-inch | 165 Hz | 1080p | 512 GB SSD | 16 GB DDR4 3200 | $1,599.99 $1,199.99 at Best Buy (save $400)There's a couple of caveats here to be aware of, but this thin, light and powerful little laptop is still a superb deal. You get a 120 W RTX 4070, a 10 core (six performance, four efficient) Intel chip, and 16 GB of DDR4. That 512 GB SSD is on the small side, but there's two M2 slots so it's easy to drop in some extra storage—and while that screen is only 1080p, it's still a vibrant and fast panel.

Price check: Newegg $1,599

Alongside a proper 140 W RTX 4070 sits the current fastest Intel mobile CPU, in tandem with a blazing fast 240 Hz IPS display. It's a little chonky, and the branding is less than subtle, but there's a lot of grunt here inside that substantial chassis. It's likely to get loud though, what with a 24-core CPU sitting next to that full-fat GPU.

That Core i7 is easier to keep cool than an i9 and it's a more suitable match for the 140W RTX 4070 alongside, which should have no problem pushing 1440p res gaming to that screen. Speaking of which, that 240 Hz panel is very speedy indeed, especially for this price.

Price change:➖Gigabyte Aorus | RTX 4070 | Core i7 13650HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 165 Hz | 32 GB DDR5-4800 | 1 TB SSD | $1,699.99 $1,549.99 at Best Buy (save $150)This Gigabyte has a nicely balanced set of components, what with a mobile Core i7 with six Performance cores and eight Efficient matched with a 140 W RTX 4070 handling the graphics. 32 GB of DDR5 memory is good to see at this price as well, although admittedly it's not the fastest. Still, a well-weighted laptop for the money.

Price change:➖Lenovo Legion Pro 7 | RTX 4080 | Core i9 14900HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240 Hz | 32 GB DDR5-5600 | 1 TB SSD | $2,799 $2,099 at B&H Photo (save $700)Lenovo make some brilliant gaming laptops, and this Legion Pro 7 is no exception. Featuring the mighty RTX 4080 in combination with Intel's top spec Core i9 mobile CPU, this high-end model should have no trouble tearing through any game you can throw at it. The screen is plenty speedy too with a 240 Hz refresh rate, and 32 GB of fast DDR5 is not to be sniffed at.

It usually fluctuates between $190 and $200, and even at $200, we're getting a budget graphics card that delivers high frame rates in the latest games at 1080p. PC gaming doesn't have to cost a fortune, you know?

It's an 8GB GPU with the same core specs as the RX 6600 XT but has a slightly higher clock speed boost. We like the newer RX 7600 more, but it also costs a little more.

Price change:ASRock RX 7600 | 8 GB GDDR6 | 2,048 shaders | 2,695 MHz boost | $249.99 at AmazonAs the budget baby of the RDNA 3 family, the RX 7600 faces a lot of competition. Not just from Intel and Nvidia, but from AMD's previous generation of cards too. At this price, though, it's quite a bit cheaper than the RX 6700 XT and in some games, it performs nearly as well. It's not the most exciting of graphics cards, though.

Admittedly, the rest of the GPU isn't quite on par with the competition from AMD and Nvidia in terms of performance consistency. But if you need lots of memory for other reasons, this is the way to go.

Faster than the RTX 3060 but the price suggests it should have been better. You do get the full DLSS 3.5 suite, though, and it's pretty decent at encoding video for streaming. Nevertheless, we prefer AMD's RX 7600 or last-gen RX 6700.

That generally makes for higher frame rates in games, though that does depend on what you're playing. It's worth a look, especially for all that speedy VRAM.

Price change: Galax RTX 4060 Ti | 8 GB GDDR6 | 4,352 shaders | 2,565 MHz boost | $369.99 at AmazonThe RTX 4060 Ti might have had a bit of a rocky reception with that 8GB of VRAM but we found it performed very well in our review, and it makes a very solid mid-range performer, particularly with the ability to take advantage of DLSS 3 and Frame Generation. This is a small twin-fan model that should still run cool and quiet and delivers a lot of gaming performance in a super-efficient fashion.

You're getting nearly RTX 3080 performance but with all those nice RTX 40 features. It started out as a special edition for the Chinese gaming market, but it was rolled out globally to help the red team compete with the green guys. It's a good deal, too, being big chunks of the RX 7900 XT but with a little bit less of everything, to make a very performant but cheaper GPU.

Acer KC242Y | 23.8-inch | 1080p | 100 Hz | VA | FreeSync | $129.99 $89.99 at Best Buy (save $40)Ok, so it's pretty small, and a VA panel. But honestly, for this money and from a well-known and trusted manufacturer, with AMD FreeSync and a 100Hz refresh rate? A pretty good deal if you ask us. This would make an excellent second monitor, or a pretty quick main monitor in a pinch if you're building on a very tight budget.

These screens always seem to be on offer, and from the one we've used (read our review) they're good value for the money, too. You can't really complain with this 165Hz panel for just under $100.

Acer Nitro KC241Y | 23.8-inch | 1080p | 165 Hz | VA | FreeSync | $172.99 $99.99 at Amazon (save $73)Why do monitor model names need to be so confusing? It's an eternal mystery. But if you can decode this Acer, you'll find it's a cracking deal. A 165Hz gaming monitor for just $99.99. Yes, it's VA, but at this price point, something's gotta give.

Acer Nitro XF243Y | 23.8-inch | 1080p | 180Hz | IPS | FreeSync | $149.99 $109.99 at Amazon (save $40)If you reckon IPS rather than VA tech is essential for a proper gaming panel, do not despair. This 180Hz Acer monitor rocks IPS panel tech for a whisker over $100. Sure, it's only 1080p and 24 inches. But if you're looking for maximum speed for minimum money, this is an excellent deal.

Acer Nitro | 27-inch | 1080p | 240 Hz | VA | | Curved | FreeSync | $314.99 $159.42 at Amazon (save $155.57)If you're desperate for a super-high refresh rate on a budget, then this Acer Nitro screen should fit the bill. It's not very bright, rated at just 250 nits, but it's a good size, is a VA panel and sports a full 240 Hz refresh rate for a rather tasty price tag.

Acer Nitro ED270U | 27-inch | 1440p | VA | FreeSync Premium | 170 Hz | $249.99 $139.99 at Newegg (save $110)This is one of the best deals on a 1440p gaming monitor we've seen so far. ASRock Phantom PG27Q15R2A | 27-inch | 165 Hz | 1440p | VA | FreeSync Premium | $239.99 $159.77 at Newegg (save $80.22)ASRock's gaming monitors are always so darned cheap—we love them for that. This 1440p panel offers resolution and a rapid refresh rate for a potent PC gaming combo, though the built-in Wi-Fi antenna helps it stand out from the crowd. That's hardly essential, but could come in use for some.

But bear with us, because this screen has loads to offer. The main attraction is a 240Hz 1440p panel with 1ms response times. That's pretty much the ideal real-world 16:9 gaming solution. Just take great care with what you're ordering and those model names!

This screen offers something few others do, probably for good reason. It's absolutely massive, curved out the wazoo, ready for HDR to the extreme, built with Mini LED tech, and runs at 165Hz. It's something different, and that's why it bears mentioning that it's pretty much always on sale.

It's a decent VA panel with a peak 400 nits luminance, though despite that DisplayHDR 400 rating I wouldn't call it a HDR screen. It is a relatively high refresh, though, with a 144 Hz rating and FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive sync.

By comparison, Alienware's fancy QD-OLED 34-inch panel is around $800 even on sale. This LG matches its size, resolution, aspect ratio and refresh rate for less than one-third of the price, although of course, it is a VA panel, not an OLED. It's also not the brightest gaming monitor ever, but it is a very good deal.

It's a great compromise between lots of detail and decent frame rates. This Samsung panel gives you all that with 3,440 by 1,440 pixels, 165Hz refresh and 1ms response. It's not the brightest at 250 nits. But if you can live with that, it's an awful lot of monitor for the money.

MSI MAG 341CQP | 34-inch | 175 Hz | QD-OLED | $779.99 $729.99 at Newegg (save $50)OLED gaming still isn't as affordable as we'd like. But it's getting there. This 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED beast is still a good deal at this price, however.

As with all Gen5 SSDs, it's very expensive and runs really hot, so it's probably best to wait for the next round of PCIe 5.0 SSDs before taking the plunge.

Price change:Silicon Power UD90 | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,800 MB/s write | $109.99 $97.97 at Newegg (save $12.03)You might not know Silicon Power from Samsung, but this SSD comes well-reviewed by our friends at Tom's Hardware. It offers plenty of speed for a Steam library expansion but with a meager cost per gigabyte of just five cents. It's not the fastest SSD out there, though.

Price change:➖Team Group MP44L | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 4,800 MB/s read | 4,400 MB/s write | $139.99 $107.99 at Newegg (save $32.00)There's no DRAM to boost sustained performance and the SLC cache isn't especially big, either. But the speed is good enough for most workloads and when 1 TB of storage costs this much, who cares that it's not flash or fancy? Not us, that's for sure.

Price check: Amazon $107.99

Price change:➖Nextorage G-LE | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,400 MB/s write | $134.99 $107.99 at Amazon (save $27)This DRAM-less Nextorage drive still has plenty of pace about it, and if you're just using it as an extra game library SSD to contend with your expanding library, but still need some storage speed, it's a great option. The extra cache can come in handy as a boot drive, increasing responsiveness for smaller write operations, but for games, this more affordable option can be a good way to save some cash on a new build or upgrade.

Price check: Newegg $114.99

Price change:Nextorage NEM-PAB | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300 MB/s read | 6,900 MB/s write | $249.99 $119.99 at Newegg (save $130)You can expect top performance out of this drive, which is impressive for the price. This version without a DRAM cache makes it a little less responsive than the DRAM-equipped NEM-PA model, despite having a slight advantage in stated straight-line performance. Unfortunately, this drive's price is volatile, but it's still one of the better-value 2 TB drives with a heatsink right now.

Price change:Lexar NM790 | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,500 MB/s write | $134.99 at AmazonThis SSD is a great deal right now and Lexar has put together a superb SSD in the NM790. Thanks to high-layer NAND and a low-power controller, you get tons of storage here on an energy-efficient and great-performing drive for not much cash and often much less cash than the competition. Read our Lexar NM790 (4 TB) review for more.

Price change:Team Group MP44S M.2 2230 | 2 TB | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 3,500 MB/s write | Steam Deck + ROG Ally compatible | $139.99 at AmazonThis Team Group drive isn't the fastest compact SSD you can stick in your Steam Deck, but it is one of the cheapest 2TB drives you'll be able to find for your wee handheld gaming PC. And it will also be a little quicker than the stock drive the Deck ships with, too.

Price change:➖WD Black SN850X | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300 MB/s read | 6,300 MB/s write | $189.99 $149.99 at Amazon (save $40)Our favorite SSD for gaming right now encapsulates the best PCIe 4.0 offers in terms of performance (check out our review). That makes it a great fit for a boot drive with space to spare for your game library but while it's super fast and reliable, prices are really volatile.

Price change:➖Silicon Power XS70 | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300 MB/s read | 6,800 MB/s write | $179.99 $144.52 at Amazon (save $35.47)Prices for the XS70 are some of the most variable I've seen for an SSD, so it's perhaps worth waiting to see if the price dips again before picking one up. It packs rather a large bang for your buck with its fast read and write times, at least. While the software side of things may be a little lacking, we were impressed with this drive's overall performance and value proposition.

Price check: Newegg $230.60

Price change:➖Team Group QX | 4 TB | 2.5" | SATA III 6 Gb/s | 560 MB/s read | 510 MB/s write | $200.99 $189.99 at Newegg (save $11)It's a fair chunk of cash for a slow SSD but if you're looking for lots of storage and don't need a blazing NVMe drive, then this is the cheapest way of putting a 4 TB SSD in your gaming PC. Just don't expect it to sustain full speed under heavy workloads and you'll be fine.

Price change:🔽Silicon Power UD90 | 4 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,500 MB/s write | $239.99 $199.99 at Amazon (save $40)This Silicon Power might not be the fastest of drives, but it's difficult to argue with this much storage for this sort of money. With a sequential read/write of 5,000 MB/s and 4,500 MB/s, it's still not what you'd call slow and should be fine for gaming; plus it comes from a reliable brand.

Price change:➖Team Group MP44 | 4 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,900 MB/s write | $299.99 $232.99 at Amazon (save $67)This Team Group boasts some mighty specs for the money, though it's actually the same hardware as in the Lexar NM790. The sequential read/write speeds are extremely high but it can only sustain them over short bursts. At this price, it's well worth putting up with that limitation.

Price change:➖Silicon Power XS70 | 4 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,200 MB/s read | 6,800 MB/s write | $309.99 $259.99 at Amazon (save $50)High-performance 4TB SSDs are starting to rocket in price but if you absolutely must have one, this is an excellent choice. Mountains of storage and blistering speed—this XS70 has them both, but you'll be paying a pretty penny for it. At least it comes with a decent heatsink to keep temperatures under control.

Price change:🔼Adata SE810 | 1 TB | USB 3.2 Gen2x2 | 2,000 MB/s read | 2,000 MB/s write | $89.99 at AmazonSmall, light, and very fast in the right USB port, this little SSD might be all you need for your external storage requirements. While we didn't think it offered a great amount of drop resistance in our review, the SE810 is rated to IP68, so it'll fend off dust and water ingress nicely.

Price change:➖Team Group PD20M | 1 TB | USB 3.2 Gen2x2 | 2,000 MB/s read | 2,000 MB/s write | $82.99 at AmazonNot all external SSDs need to be big and bulky. This Team Group PD20M is just 40 g in weight and 8.2 mm thick, making it very portable. It's also MagSafe-compatible so you can attach it to the back of an iPhone and extend its storage, with an appropriate cable. As with all fast external SSDs, you'll need a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (20 Gbps) port to get the full speed.

Price check: Newegg $82.99

Price change:➖Samsung T7 Shield | 1 TB | USB 3.2 Gen2 | 1,050 MB/s read | 1,000 MB/s write | $109.99 at NeweggSamsung's external drives have a better recent history than its internal SSDs, so we've no hesitation in recommending the T7 for any professional looking for a large amount of storage that can be safely taken from place to place. They're designed to be rugged and fast, a potent combo. Oh, and they're available in three colors. Don't forget that you'll need to have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port in your PC to get the best speed.

Price change:➖Crucial X9 Pro | 2 TB | USB 3.2 Gen2 | Up to 1,050 MB/s read and write | $169.99 $139.99 at Best Buy (save $30)Crucial is a big name in SSDs, and the Micron-owned brand is offering a small saving on this 2 TB external model. The drive comes in an anodized aluminium shell with a rubberized base and is just 65 x 50 mm big. There's an integrated lanyard hole too, if you want to wear it, which hides a drive activity light.

Price change:➖Samsung T7 Shield | 4 TB | USB 3.2 Gen2 | Up to 1,050 MB/s read and write | $499.99 $314.07 at Amazon (save $185.92)You might think this is a lot of money for an external SSD, and you'd be right. But that's not to say it's a bad deal. In fact, it's one of the best deals in this list, at just under $0.06 per gigabyte. You're paying less, for more. Now I sound like Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang... "the more you buy, the more you save."

Price check: ➖Crosair HS65 | 50 mm drivers | 20-20,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wired | $69.99 $49.99 at Amazon (save $20)The Corsair HS65 was an excellent value headset before it saw a discount, which means it's even more of a steal right now at just under 50 bucks. It's an excellently made headset with a super clear microphone. The HyperX Cloud Alpha below outperforms it but that price difference is nothing to sniff at.

Price check: 🔼Razer BlackShark V2 X | 50 mm drivers | 12-28,000Hz | Closed-back | Wired | $59.99 $43.99 at Best Buy (save $16)The Razer Blackshark V2 X features a detachable cardioid mic, 7.1 surround sound and a 50mm set of well-balanced titanium drivers. It's a solid and dependable bit of gear, and while this isn't a gigantic discount we still think this price represents great value for money for such a high-performing headset.

Price check: 🔽HyperX Cloud Alpha | 50 mm drivers | 13-27,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wired | $99.99 $84.99 at Amazon (save $15)Earning the top spot in our best gaming headsets list, the HyperX Cloud Alpha is super comfortable and sounds impeccable. The mic can't flip to mute like some of the fancier offerings but this is excellent value, even at full price.

Price check: Best Buy $86.99

Price check: 🔼HyperX Cloud III| 53 mm drivers | 15-25,000Hz | Closed-back | Wired | $99.99 $70.63 at Amazon (save $29.36)While this might not be the hugest saving in the world, this HyperX Cloud III wired headset with over $20 off retail pricing is a good deal. When we reviewed this set of cans the only fault we could really find was with the price, so for this sort of money it's definitely worthy of some serious consideration.

Price check:SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC | 40 mm drivers | 10-40,000Hz | Closed-back | Wired | $249.99 $169.96 at Amazon (save $87.99)SteelSeries has a reputation for making fantastic gaming headsets, and this Arctis Pro + model is certainly no exception. It's got a crystal clear bidirectional mic, a super comfortable "ski goggle" fabric headband, and some great-sounding drivers, but the real thing to pay attention to here is its dedicated DAC+ amplifier with an OLED screen. This headset sounds absolutely brilliant as a result, and should jump straight to the top of your list at this price.

Price check:Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX Headphones | 40 mm drivers | 10-41,000Hz | Open-back | Wired | $219 $199 at Drop (save $20)A hot collab between Drop and Sennheiser, the HD 6XX headphones are essentially a variant of Sennheiser's ever-popular HD 650s in misty midnight blue. They have the same sound profile as the HD 650s—a nice, crisp, and clear response on the mids and highs—meaning you're set for some seriously nice audio for a seriously decent price.

Price check:Logitech G435 LIGHTSPEED | 40 mm drivers | 20-20,000Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | $79.99 $47.99 at Amazon (save $30.11)This Logitech headset is a great entry point for those on a budget looking for a wireless solution and comes with a surprising set of features for the money. There's Dolby Atmos support, 18 hours of battery life, and a lightweight design, meaning these cans will stay comfortable for longer play sessions. The built-in microphones are not the best-sounding things we've ever heard but are perfectly functional, and at this price, we think this set makes a solid budget option.

Price check:Razer BlackShark V2 Pro | 50 mm drivers | 12-28,000Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | $179.99 $129.99 at Amazon (save $80)This isn't the latest model but still one of our most beloved headsets. The refresh is grand and all, with a longer battery life and improved mic, but the original is still a great wireless headset, with the same excellent TriForce drivers delivering great audio. None of that awful Razer green nonsense here, either. These are comfy, stylish and come in sleek black or what we like to call the Stormtrooper aesthetic for the same price.

Price check:HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless | 50 mm drivers | 15-21,000Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | $199.99 $129.40 at Amazon (save $70.56)The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is one of our all-time favorite gaming headsets for many reasons, but there's a big headline feature to talk about here: 300-hour battery life. No, we didn't make a typo. 300 hours of gaming goodness on a single charge, excellent DTS:X Spatial Audio, and premium comfort features make this headset an absolute stunner of a buy at this price. In fact, when we reviewed it the only major negative we could find was a slightly uninspiring microphone. Absolutely worth a serious look this one, at any level of discount.

Price check: 🔽SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro + GameDAC | 40 mm drivers | 10–40,000Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | $349.99 $270 at Amazon (save $79.99)SteelSeries has a reputation for making fantastic gaming headsets, and the Arctis Nova Pro is where the company brings together all its know-how. From incredible comfort to smashing sound quality and isolation, and hot-swappable batteries that charge within the DAC cross battery dock. It's multi-connection, so you can quickly switch between Bluetooth or 2.4 Wi-Fi on Xbox and PC.

We're so far into the current generation of both graphics cards and gaming laptops that, while you might see some last-gen GPUs in some discounted rigs, they're going to have to be seriously cheap to warrant picking over similarly priced current-gen systems.

But, because we are deep into this generation, and all the main cards have been dealt, there will be deals going down for the latest and greatest PC gaming tech. And that's pretty exciting. You can bet there will be a number of RTX 4060 gaming laptops and PCs going for less than $900 and that will be a great price for an entry level gaming system for sure.

Intel is only launched its Arrow Lake processors in October, and while we won't see any Core Ultra 200-series discounts, I wouldn't be surprised to see Intel's 14th and 13th Gen chips up for sale. And we've already seen AMD's early holiday discounts starting on its Zen 5 chips, and I'm positive its Zen 4 range is going to see some deep cuts this year.

There's been a serious price correction on memory over the last year and so DDR5 is now affordable so putting together a great gaming PC build is within your grasp this year. There has also been a glut of great SSDs deals, too with price drops so ludicrous you'd also be silly not picking up a 1TB drive, even as a spare. Maybe even a 2TB SSD.

Screens are another regularly discounted commodity around Black Friday, and we doubt this year will be any different. This means both the best gaming monitors and the best TVs for gaming could get some tasty deals, too.

And there will always be gaming mice and keyboards on sale come Black Friday too, so they're worth taking a look at. It's a great time of year to treat your butt to a quality gaming chair as well, which tend to enjoy some healthy price cuts this time of year.

Anything you don't need. It's distressingly easy to be duped into dropping cash on something just because there's a hefty discount attached to it… even though you have absolutely no use for it.

If you're considering making a purchase around Black Friday, have a plan of attack. That probably sounds needlessly aggressive, but you need to know what you actually want to buy first or you'll end up with no end of crap. Cheap crap, maybe, but crap nonetheless.

Do some research on the products you'd like to pick up in the sales (we offer detailed hardware buying guides), and maybe some alternatives in case those don't pop up. Set yourself a strict budget too.

Products like graphics cards and processors have obvious tiers (though the different companies work damned hard to make product names as confusing as possible), and SSDs have rated speeds, but for peripherals, it's tougher to tell from the specs whether they're worth the money. Checking for reviews, from such luminaries as ourselves, should guide you on your way, and checking price trackers such as CamelCamelCamel will let you know if a deal's more than just skin deep.

If you haven't already used it up during a credit card splurge around Amazon Prime Day, then you ought to take the opportunity to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. That will get you early access to the Lightning Deals, and help you grab some of Jeff's best deals of the day. It will also net you free shipping on a host of products and speedy delivery too, and at the very worst it'll be handy when it comes to bagging some last-minute Christmas gifts for that aunt you always forget about.

There are always reasons to hold off on making a new purchase whenever you are thinking about making one. Whether it's the potential for a new generation of techie goodness on the horizon—either cutting prices on existing models or delivering tangible higher performance—or because there might be an imminent sale like Black Friday looming.

When picking out Black Friday and Cyber Monday PC gaming deals we take all of this into consideration, and where we think prices on something might significantly drop on the big day itself we simply won't recommend it. But all of the products here we either believe won't significantly drop much further in terms of their pricing, or are just good deals that we wouldn't hesitate recommending if you wanted to make a purchase today.

It's worth stating, too, that many retailers have already kicked off their Cyber Monday sales, and the likes of Newegg and Best Buy are offering their own kinds of price guarantees to give you some confidence in their current discounts.

We've added a new "price change" qualifier to all our individual deals, making it easy to see whether a price has risen or lowered. It's important to note that any deal in this guide (even if it's slightly risen in price) is still one of our top picks, as we only show you deals that are actually worth buying.
